1/28			Langley Car Show    --- Hampton

    {--just in---}

    The 1st Fighter Wing, 1st Maintenance Group, on Langley Air 
    Force Base is indeed hosting a car show this Saturday, the 
    28th, as a fundraiser for their "Maintenance Professional 
    of the Year" (MPOY) ceremony; the monies they hope to raise 
    from this car show will go toward covering the cost of 
    award banquet for the maintainers who keep our F-22 Raptors 
    in the air.  There is an updated flyer attached that has 
    changed some of the information from the previous flyer.

    There will be trophies and door prizes available, and the 
    entry fee is $15. The event will start at 10:00 a.m. with 
    trophy presentation at 11:45 for "top three cars" (there 
    are no classes).
    
    The event will be held at one of the hangars on Danforth.  
    Participants should enter the installation at the LaSalle 
    Gate and simply stay on Nealy Avenue which changes to 
    Sweeney Avenue upon crossing through the intersection where 
    the air memorial park is; make a left hand turn just past 
    the 1 FW headquarters building (has two model F-22s on 
    stands) and drive under the arch.
