TMC members stripped the 2001 Give Away Car. The car was sent to Fox Auto Repair back in November 2000.

Wayne Hoferkamp and many other club members help strip the parts car, which cars will be used on the 2001 Give Away Car.

The car was primed and sanded. Several auto techs worked on the car while it was at Fox Auto Repair.

The 2001 Give Away Car starts it new paint job by first starting to paint all the trim. All quarters trunk etc. was placed back on the car.

As you can see the firewall really turned out nice. Then new paint in the engine bay area will make this car come alive.

The paint was applied to the car. The front view of the car gives you a taste of what is coming down the road in your rear view mirror.

With the body style of the 1965 Barracuda. You can see the round curves or the rear as well as the big rear window housing.

The other side of the car will give you a different feel for the paint. This looks more silver then the other side.

Ready to be put back together. There will still be a lot more work to be done in putting the car back together.

Bill Laurent Starts polishing the rear bumper. The bumpers turned out really nice, until we can swap them out at a national event.

Thom Day worked hard on shinning the chrome up on the windows. This wing goes on the right side of the car.

Kevin Beard points out the nice emblem on the front of the car. He says "Win this 1965 Plymouth Barracuda".

We took the car outside to take some pictures for magazines and show flyers. The Metallic Pewter paint looks silver front this view.

Here's another view of the front of the car from the right side. With all the chrome on the car. The Pewter paint really looks good.

From this picture you can start seeing a light bronze paint in the Pewter. The car will now under go a lift in the garage.

The pewter turns to bronze in this view. From the rear view. It kinda looks like a fish? Well at least a barracuda fish!

The chains were riged up and the lift will soon begin.

Here we go! 4 people took 4 pullies and at the same time started lifting the car from the ground.

Once in the air. Club members inspect the car to see what needs to be done.

They decided to take the whole chassy out from underneith the car and replace with better one.

Bill Laurent takes off the tires, while it is in the air. This picture also shows the nice stripes on the car.

Here's a shot of the Give-Away Car that shows all the chassies were removed.
